Thanks for reaching out to us today. Regarding your question on how to use a service request number, the Service request number is used to track your 'case' (which holds the information provided when the case was made in regards to your question or issue).

If you have questions regarding a case you have with support and have a case number you may reach us by requesting a callback or getting with chat support.

Once you get ahold of one of our agents you may provide them your Service request number so they can have the previous notes made on your case and continue where you left of ( or provide updates).

Thanks for the reply. If the chat is not working, I recommend trying a different device or internet browser. Try these steps to schedule a callback:

Log into Support.Xbox.com
Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
Step 1: Choose the category - Xbox or Xbox on Windows 10
Step 2 : Ask a question
A new window will pop up
Type in contact Support -
- you will receive different options, such as:
- Message with an Xbox Gamer
- Call me back
- Ask the Community
